Robert's Rules of Order and Chaos

We have added a provisional member this week and are considering another, a woman that would break up a seriously male group, a good thing! This blog is a forum that was first conceptualized by Sauerwein and I and we never gave much thought to rules of any kind, both being fairly anarchistic sorts with our own personal problems in regards to dealing with authority.

Be that as it may, I think that this here shutter blog is progressing nicely. I like the work that we are posting, and don't know of any small village photographic corollary of its kind. Ken was asking about parameters for joining and here are (is?) my two cents. It is a blog for the Fallbrook Photographic community and as long as the work is good and doesn't monopolize the website, the more the merrier.

The site germinated from two eggs - the local color photographic show that we had last fall and our saturday morning meetings at the coffee shop.  Ken suggested, and I second, that members should at least occasionally hang out with us and talk shop on Saturday mornings. What do you think?

  1. I generally favor as much anarchy as possible, but this isn't always practical. Should we need a rule or two the Primo is probably the forum for discussing them. Otherwise, since you Robert did the work to set this up you can be King especially since anarchists make the best kings. Thomas can be King too, after all no one said we could only have one king. Also, lets get the women into this thing. Photography has had much of its history and its present activity being made by women.

Long live the King. Saturdays are usually work days for me. What hours are all of you at Primo?

  6. No, it's an oldie, shot it a couple years ago. I like the pollen on the wings. Thanks for the compliment. Have some nice dragonfly shots as well.
