I posted the first version of this a few days ago. It shows the whole wave and the rider in context. For this one, I cropped in quite a bit and it takes the guy out of the context of the wave, however, I think it is more powerful.
Comments??? ( are appreciated!!!)
I AGREE WITH YOU: THIS IS FOR ME AT LEAST, A MORE POWERFUL PICTURE. LN
ReplyDeletelike the other better - would crop right margin significantly.
ReplyDeleteIt is a tough crop. When this s**t happens sometimes it is a good idea to put it away for a few days and then come back. The world's best crop may easily suggest itself then. Besides, this method is easier than the other alternative: Climbing Mt. Baldy barefoot in a loin cloth, sitting on an anthill on the peak and waiting for enlightenment.
ReplyDeleteso, Jon… what is your enlightened opinion (after doing the Mt. baldy routine)????
ReplyDeleteconsider the aspect ratio.
ReplyDeleteRe: aspect ratio.... What do you mean? Is this too much of a pano or ?
ReplyDeleteRead up on the golden section 1.6 to 1, that means a little too much pan here. If you pan like this better to make it even thinner in the vertical.
